Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Robert Reddick is a veteran of the microcomputer, IT, and online entertainment industries. Beginning in 1984 Robert began his career by selling and supporting IBM and Apple computers to the students and faculty at UNC-Charlotte.
Later, Robert worked in IT roles at SunHealth (now Premier Inc), and for six seasons served as Director of Information Technology for the NBA Charlotte Hornets basketball franchise.
After a short stint as Interim CTO in the wind-down at Pixelon, Inc, Robert began working full time on software and entertainment startups including INTV.com (archived: intvdemo) and in partnership with Gaston Technical Support, on universal polling system, ONEVOX.com.
In 2009 in partnership with David Temple, and Kent Smith, Robert worked on the production set at Lucky You Films where he designed and ran a 40-day, real-time filmmaking + social marketing campaign for Indi-feature The Last Passport. In an earlier, 2002 effort with Temple, Robert and colleague Ryan Fields designed a multi-user blogging platform to socially-market theatrical short Rewind.
More recently Robert’s efforts include the launch of GateStaff.com, a software platform for event staff management in the live events industry. GateStaff, with over 60,000 staff check-ins as of early 2012, is a project of Show Pros Entertainment Services.
